so, mr bear, whaddayathink about this game? do ya`know the stats on that mariner? dad will know for sure... mom? nah, i think she's texting or something... or maybe she's running laps through the stadium... it's only the 3rd inning, so she might be still paying attention... sorta. we'll stick with dad on this one for sure.
just a few more shots to add from the 6-7wk point... cousinkck sent a very cool bear to keep him company ... and the baseball rattle is one of his very first gifts from some nebraskans we know... along with a husker outfit for next fall... hee hee! babyboy got his hand around the rattle once while laying on his activity mat and promptly threw it right back at me... i realize this was likely a random action as babies his age have no control over release of grip, but... i prefer to think (like my awesome nocolo friend with 3 boys under 5) that he's just advanced. :) hee hee! and you realize, when you say the word "advanced" you have to draw the a's out all nasally like you're from chicago and are extremely proud of that which is "advaaanced." so anyway... right handed pitcher perhaps? or maybe an outfielder since he's got such great runner legs... boy oh boy... i'm really hoping he'll swing towards over xc running ... but i guess xc is a fall sport and baseball is spring, so that would work out ok... and neither will interfere with piano playing and band or choir, or pouring water and stiring meat at convention so all should be well. :)
(no, my feet really don't turn in like that, they just don't quite fill out the footies yet... especially when i run and climb in place!)
babyj and i had a very fun lunch rondy yesterday with ultimatefrisrunninggirlfriend and ultimatefrismamatj ... he got to catch up on all the latest haps in our 3 lives plus drink in the amazing smells of a fabulous working flower/grain mill where we ate... gonna have to go back there... this was after my first run pushing the bob the almost the whole way with ultimatefrisrunninggirl... we met up pre-lunch at one of my fav road running places due to the eye candy (not that kind, we're talking mansions and amazing houses) and relatively low traffic with manageable hills (less than the 500-800ft per 1-2mi ones i live on)... quite lovely actually--and these "sunset magazine" or "filthyrichandifyouhavetoaskwhaticostyoudon'tbelonghere real estate journal" homes also have very cool, pedigreed, expensive, spirited dogs that are amazingly contained in all their freshly groomed glory behind invisible fences in their highly manicured landscapes with nary a poop dropping or pee burn to be found! anyway... i love running here and it should be a good bob destination on some of my routes. great race here in the spring to train up for (and only 12k or 5k so come one, come all!).
and after all that, you'd think i'd have a spread of photos, but alas... the camera which i so thoughtfully remembered to bring ended up in my car where i brainlessly left it for the whole experience. ah well, come out and visit and i'll give you a guided tour.
