well, little man is 3 wks tomorrow... geesh! how can time fly when it goes so slow sometimes? hee hee... rhetorical, purely... if there's one thing i've learned in life... and ultras...

babyj's 2 wk MD visit brought lots of good news with growth in weight and length right on target... so the feed, poo, interact, and sleep cycle is going well based on numbers anyway... he's getting more interactive, fascinated by lights... especially the green one on the cd player that plays his fav song (still waltzing with matilda in an aboriginal dialect), and every bit as snuggly... cutie patootie! :)
we get frequent checkins from gpapaj and auntieree as well as the zclan... babies are hot commodities! my apologies to any of the current babies who feel they've been somehow displaced in the pecking order. my assurances to the little ones, siblings and parents, that you are loved even more as the relatives just compare and contrast and bring up how precious ea individual one is... isn't that the awesome thing about love? no bounds!

the BOB jogger is getting walked on the non nasty days and daddy provides care on the nasty weather days so mom and i can get out and power walk our hills to regain some aspect of mental and physical clarity... can't wait to run... but the healing process will keep me waiting just a bit longer... and that's ok. can lift and begin core work that doesn't increase discomfort... yay! i'll just PT myself! ;) all in all, i'm feeling pretty good!

hb is still providing expert guardian skills and coverage to babyj and i (or whoever else might be holding him)... she's fairly wary of visitors but when they pass her sniff, lick, etc tests, she allows them in and either lays down between them and babyj/me or nearer them for more scritchins for herself. what a pooch!
we are enjoying the letters, cards, holiday greetings, visitors, calls, and everything that's been coming our way... thanks so much for thinking of us! our big public outing (not including some trips to a few stores and a coffeehouse/bakery or two) will be special mtgs in another week... should be interesting from a baby management perspective with the number of feed/interact/sleep cycles that will include... ah well, we're not the first new parents in specials... and likely won't be the last... granmamaj will still be providing her expert care and asst. through that wknd, so we'll just keep soaking up ideas and tips! thanks to everyone else (relatives, friends, nurses, moms, dads, aunties, cousins, etc etc) who have been providing tidbits, advice, reassurance, etc!)! peanut shells, moby wraps, tea bags, lilypadz vs soothies, fleece blankets, cool clothes and books, music recommendations, sleep stories, and so on... so many fun experiences and things to share! THANK YOU!
