sit back with a good cuppa ... this one might be long... :)And so we continue into December... this one's mostly pics... and some captions... from J's HAPPY BIRTHDAY party we had 2 days early... i supposed to make the beginning of labor last year! ha ha! :) WHOOOEEE am i glad that one's over! ;) the labor... not the party... the party was super fun! four little ones age 4mo to 1y2wks... no blowouts or ups... even tho a couple of the little ones had decided that party day was a great day to skip solid afternoon naps.... party boy included! here we have ultimaterunnergirliefriend holding babyb (ASH's boy-4mo) while J checks him out...

TG enjoyed the banana cake with his mama ... he's 2wks older than J!
great sharing... good gross motor skills demos, tasty vittles, lots of snuggles... and we adults did great, too! ;) J's adding to his "band" potential... babyB gave him a leapfrog guitar... FUN! he's got the babygrand from gma/paJ... drums have been provided by mama's kitchen... a former papertowel tube - the horn section... and you'll never guess what the featured instrument is currently... that's right... his very own babysized VACUUM!!!!!!!!!!! it makes real vacuum noises, has an adjustable handle, shows what it's picking up (pics) and also sings and says the alphabet... he's just interested in the real noise, however... thankfully, it's at a lower volume than mine. truly, he's having a hard time choosing between the 3 things right now tho (piano, guitar, vacuum)... hard to play them all at once... but for the first day since getting back home from TG, we've not had to get the real vacuum out ... and it's already 2pm! :) wow.
he received some cool new books (including a soft one with real mooing cows in it! thanks gpa/maZ! which thankfully we discovered before we just hauled it into mtg) and a sweet rooster shirt and khakis as well... the rooster shirt is particularly fitting given his private concert he got from the one at the zoo when we were there in nov. :) he'll be practicing his balance and pre-biking skills on his new rody... bright blue... great ears... and learning some of the basic points of driving with his new cars, too! boy oh boy... the fun we're going to continue to have! the cars are the kind you pull back and then let them drive themselves fwd... i'm psyched to see him put those 2 things together! :) enjoy the pics...
happybirthday to youuuuuuuuu! mama's nervous for the candle... and the cake was 5 finger prints too close to the babe... but that's ok! banana cake... super tasty... thanks to allrecipes.com's "banana cake VI"! interesting directions... but they work! frosting courtesy of ML... and candle from RL! :)

and here's the pack of 4 cars from IA... sooo cute! daddy's currently racing them in the kitchen... demo derby style... hmmm... j's watching... interrupted from his sun aft nap by barking hb... he likes them to bang, too... sigh... :) hopefully he (daddy) doesn't bang up the walls too much... he GOT A JOB! and we'll relocate when we sell or rent this place!!!!! merry xmas to us!!!!!!! :) 2hrs south of here... where we can see miss margaret frequently... if she'll have us! :) we'll miss pdx area very very much... but it's not so far away... and we're on the way to the beach... relatively speaking... and about an hour from the pct... and some great mtn biking near by... tracktown USA! the adventures continue... :)
