21 months!!!!!!!

oooooo, i keep promising pics....

a few highlights... his talking continues to improve by leaps and bounds... those little words are soooooo cute... phrases... sentences that have words and babble and phrases all interconnected.... it's like me trying to learn a foreign language... or like the farside cartoon about what the dog really hears "blahblahblahfidoblahblahtreatblahblahfido"... etc. :) I LOVE IT!

he's able to go down bigger steps now without hanging on, but thankfully a curb is still too high... he likes to go down big slides every once in awhile... but only if it's his idea... his bestest friends in the whole wide world continue to be R and T McK... and it's SOOOOOO darling! he's not afraid to go up to kids of any age on the playground and chat away with them... i love they look they get... no idea what he's saying, but the little ones will babble right back... and if the older ones have younger siblings, they'll have a conversation with him in whatever direction they're thinking. LOVE IT!

most body parts... he particularly still loves elbows and knees... they are pretty cool, ya know.

"bababat plate/bowl"... his rabbit plate/bowl... which were mine when IIIIIIIIIi was a baby... thanks to gmaj for saving those few things!
he reminds me when cupboard doors/etc aren't shut... still loves to grind my coffee for me... loves to help push blender buttons... food processor... etc... says these by name.

he's starting to think things are funny when they're not true/possible... like when i'm offering him a few choices for lunch, he says no to each, so i'll offer him alligator tails or something... he thinks that's soooo funny... or in the richard scarry book, mr. fix it fox fixes mrs cat's vacuum which makes it only run on the ceiling then... hilarious!!!!!!!
